About the Role

The selected intern will support program planning and implementation efforts in Rhode Island, assisting the EERMC and its consultant team with research on clean‑energy technologies and programs, analysis of energy‑efficiency data, review of policy and legislation, and synthesis of findings into reports and presentations. Key duties include developing content for the client newsletter, reviewing and summarizing energy‑efficiency program plans and implementation, and handling ad‑hoc tasks as needed. • Assist EERMC and consultants with clean‑energy research and data analysis. • Create reports and presentations summarizing qualitative and quantitative findings. • Develop newsletter content for the client. • Review and summarize energy‑efficiency program plans and implementation details. • Perform ad‑hoc tasks on an as‑needed basis.

What You Bring

Candidates should have a background or coursework in energy efficiency, environmental science, sustainability, or economics, be proficient with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred), and have experience with data visualization and dashboard development. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently are essential. • Possess background or coursework in energy efficiency, environmental science, sustainability, or economics. • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills desirable. • Utilize data visualization and dashboard development experience. • Exhibit strong written and oral communication abilities. • Work effectively both in team settings and independently.
