About the Role
In this role you are responsible for producing end‑to‑end fiber optic networks. You will test and troubleshoot network continuity, operate a variety of testing equipment, prep splice enclosures, use a fusion splicer, and apply fiber design knowledge while working on outdoor utility construction sites. • Test and troubleshoot continuity of fiber optic networks. • Operate testing equipment such as OTDR (1310/1550), DWDM, CWDM, OLTS, Max Tester, and power meters. • Utilize a fusion splicer for fiber connections. • Apply fiber design knowledge, read documentation, and assess light levels and dB loss. • Perform work on outdoor utility construction sites.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, has 3‑5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience, can work on ladders or bucket trucks, and enjoys solving hard problems with a hands‑on approach. You should be flexible with shifts, willing to work overtime, and meet relevant MOS codes. • Prep fiber splice enclosures (Tyco, CommScope, Corning, etc.). • Minimum 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience. • Ability to work safely on ladders or bucket trucks. • Strong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on work approach. • Relevant MOS codes: V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699.

Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
