About the Role
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate surveying projects, ensuring accurate boundary determinations and thorough documentation. This includes overseeing field and office staff, developing work plans, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare complete boundary surveys by compiling records and analyzing property lines. • Conduct quality control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Assist staff in drafting reports, findings, and contract documents. • Coordinate field and office teams to execute design and field tasks on complex projects. • Develop project and task work plans. • Direct staff to achieve project objectives. • Monitor performance of assigned staff, sub‑consultants, and contractors. • Supervise Survey Technicians as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate degree or equivalent technical experience preferred, and at least ten years of surveying experience. A Professional Land Surveyor license in Illinois is required, and an Indiana license is highly valued. Proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and a broad range of surveying instruments and data techniques is essential. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED; Associate degree or technical experience preferred. • Possess 10+ years of surveying experience. • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Illinois; Indiana license preferred. • Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. • Skilled in diverse data techniques, coding systems, and surveying instruments. • Strong knowledge of angular/linear measurements, trigonometry, and geometry. • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. • Proficient in English communication (reading, writing, speaking).

Benefits
The position offers a compensation range of $90,500 to $139,400 dependent on qualifications, and includes a pre‑employment drug screen. A valid driver’s license and ability to communicate effectively in English are also required.
