About the Role
The Labor Compliance Coordinator is a temporary, hybrid role based in San Diego, CA, focused on supporting the team in adhering to local, state, and federal labor laws, prevailing‑wage requirements, and contractual compliance standards. The position offers hands‑on experience reviewing certified payrolls, assisting subcontractors with labor documentation, and learning to monitor regulatory compliance under guidance from senior staff. • Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with wage, hour, and public works labor laws • Review and verify certified payroll reports for accuracy • Conduct audits of labor compliance documents and flag discrepancies • Maintain labor compliance records in LCPtracker and internal tracking systems • Research regulatory requirements to support the team • Manage the team’s SharePoint site, organizing documents and troubleshooting issues • Serve as point of contact for contractors, project managers, and team members on basic compliance questions • Provide technical guidance on prevailing-wage laws under supervision • Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies • Participate in pre‑construction meetings and project kickoff sessions to learn compliance communication • Support periodic jobsite visits to gather information on worker classifications and wage compliance • Stay current on labor regulations, standards, and compliance tools

What You Bring
• Basic understanding of labor laws and public‑works requirements (e.g., California DIR, Davis‑Bacon) is a plus • Familiarity with certified payroll processes and LCPtracker; training provided • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and ability to quickly learn new software • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with guidance

Benefits
