About the Role

The Junior Mining Engineer will join the Mine Engineering & Geology team to support mining studies, designs, modelling, and on‑site execution for safe and sustainable resource development across Canada and beyond. • Evaluate mine designs to optimise extraction methods and long‑term planning. • Support senior engineers in preparing technical studies (PEA, PFS, FS). • Use Deswik and Ventsim for ventilation design and mine modelling. • Analyse engineering data to develop safe and efficient design parameters. • Participate in design reviews for underground and open‑pit projects. • Compile equipment pricing to aid cost estimates and project planning. • Provide on‑site support through rotating secondments (including FIFO assignments). • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Canada.

What You Bring

• Hold a Mine Engineering degree with 0–3 years of experience. • Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills. • Experience with Deswik or underground ventilation modelling considered an asset. • Prior exposure to mining operations via co‑op, internship, or field experience valued. • Flexible to travel and work in remote or inclement conditions.
