About the Role
The Cleaner position is part‑time, weekends only, and reports to the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services. The role involves performing custodial duties according to the company's standards and procedures. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other interior surfaces. • Operate commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, including attachments. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas, spot‑clean daily, and shampoo when directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces; perform periodic high dusting. • Clean windowsills, interior glass, doors, partitions, and specified windows. • Wash interior walls as appropriate on a daily basis. • Clean bathrooms, restock paper supplies, and perform standard bathroom procedures such as wiping glass, emptying waste baskets, servicing dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, and scrubbing floors. • Monitor fixtures for defects (e.g., clogged urinals, out‑of‑order lights) and report to supervisors. • Collect building trash daily, place it in approved containers, and ensure proper disposal. • Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers according to specifications. • Sweep or shovel snow from steps, walkways, and connecting sidewalks as directed. • Perform periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. • Use cleaning tools and equipment, including backpack‑style portable vacuums.

Benefits
Compensation is $16.00‑$17.00 hourly, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package that may include health, vision, dental, flexible spending, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, as well as paid and unpaid time off. Pay complies with minimum wage and may vary based on location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements.
