About the Role
The coordinator assists the project or program manager with administering SH&E programs, audits worksites against corporate standards, inspects for hazards, and creates written audit and inspection reports. They monitor project planning and performance to ensure alignment with the ESHARP management system, implement occupational injury and incident reporting processes, perform trend analyses, support new‑hire orientation, deliver regulatory and best‑practice SH&E training, participate in safety briefings, and handle other related responsibilities. • Assist project/program manager in administering SH&E programs and ensuring compliance with risk management practices. • Audit projects and worksites against corporate standards and create written inspection reports. • Identify hazards, provide expertise to eliminate or control risks, and conduct safety briefings. • Monitor work planning and performance to align with the ESHARP management system. • Implement occupational injury and incident reporting processes and analyze trends. • Conduct regulatory and best‑practice SH&E training and support new‑hire orientation.

What You Bring
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will assist a project or program manager in ensuring that site‑specific SH&E plans, workplaces, and operational tasks conform to Parsons’ risk management practices and comply with prevailing regulatory and client SH&E requirements. A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least five years of relevant health and safety experience are required.
