About the Role

The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating training, assessment, and competency development programs for both blue‑ and white‑collar workers across the Line of Business. The role collaborates with HSE, Operations, and People & Culture teams to align training requirements and guide trainers delivering structured, gap, and refresher courses. The position is based in Tullarmarine. Key duties include organising training sessions, managing relationships with Registered Training Organisations, monitoring compliance, recording student progress in the Learning Management System, and ensuring workforce competence. The Coordinator also maintains training and safety records, prepares stakeholder reports, supports HSE initiatives, and drives continuous improvement of the L&D function. • Set up, coordinate, and attend employee training sessions, handling invitations, catering, and room bookings. • Manage relationships with Registered Training Organisations, overseeing enrolments, tuition fees, apprenticeship contracts, and progress reporting. • Monitor and ensure compliance with RTO regulatory requirements across the business. • Record and track student progress data in the Learning Management System. • Verify workforce competence and keep compulsory training current. • Collect and record training data from all units for monthly L&D reports. • Implement training plans and conduct regular internal audits to maintain currency. • Maintain training and safety records according to document control policy and statutory requirements. • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed. • Ensure effective document control to meet ISO accreditation requirements. • Support the HSE Manager in implementing training targets, initiatives, and performance measures. • Develop training delivery plans based on workforce capability requirements. • Maintain governance systems to meet regulatory requirements. • Stay updated on best practices in adult and vocational learning. • Identify and recommend continuous improvement initiatives for the L&D function and business performance.

What You Bring

Relevant experience in electrical industry training is highly regarded, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable. Candidates should have experience supporting ASQ requirements through governance, audits, and continuous improvement, as well as the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential for building effective relationships at all levels.
