About the Role
The Property Manager, Multifamily is responsible for maintaining communities to a market‑ready standard while delivering a high level of service. This role also drives team performance to maximize property results. The manager oversees all aspects of community operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. They ensure superior customer service for residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Leadership duties include recruiting, hiring, coaching, and mentoring a cohesive on‑site team spanning leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management. The manager sets and monitors leasing and marketing goals, develops creative marketing programs, and models Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. • Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, revenue, and reputation. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in accordance with company standards. • Track and evaluate advertising performance and prospective client traffic. • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and retain a high‑performing on‑site team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management functions. • Analyze competitive market data and develop creative marketing programs to drive revenue. • Model and instill Cushman & Wakefield’s mission and lead by example. • Supervise day‑to‑day on‑site operations ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Maintain resident files and documentation per company standards. • Resolve resident conflicts promptly with consistent follow‑up. • Manage overall community budget and financial performance. • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing targets. • Identify leasing opportunities, set performance goals, and improve staff effectiveness. • Operate in a professional office environment using standard office equipment.

What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree and a real‑estate license are preferred, and candidates should have at least three years of property‑management experience and three years of supervisory experience. The position operates in a professional office setting, requires regular travel (up to 15 % of the time), and involves physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lb. • Demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation for office tasks. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; real‑estate license preferred. • Minimum of 3 + years property management experience and 3 + years supervisory experience. • Travel regularly, up to 15 % of time, including between properties and outdoor sites. • Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 25 lb regularly.
