About the Role

The role of Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis at the Global Service Centre focuses on driving financial performance through planning, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager‑Finance, the position partners with global teams to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making, cost control, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include establishing FP&A processes, leading profitability analysis, delivering weekly shipment‑level performance reports, and collaborating with global finance heads to enforce operational discipline. The manager will monitor costs, identify variances, automate reporting where possible, and provide ad‑hoc analysis for strategic projects while preparing leadership presentations and tracking key performance indicators. • Establish and lead FP&A processes and profitability analysis. • Produce weekly shipment‑level profitability reports and identify cost drivers. • Collaborate with global finance heads to enforce operational discipline. • Monitor costs, spot variances, and recommend profitability improvements. • Automate reporting and deliver ad‑hoc financial insights for strategic projects. • Track KPIs and support business performance analysis. • Partner with country finance teams and cross‑functional groups on initiative impact. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing FP&A team. • Ensure compliance, high‑quality reporting, and timely stakeholder presentations.

What You Bring

The role requires strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail. Candidates must have FP&A experience in the logistics sector, preferably freight forwarding, and be proactive in solving financial issues while managing time and organizational priorities effectively. Qualifications include a Chartered Accountant/ICWA/CPA/CMA designation with 7‑10 years of management experience in financial reporting, 10+ years in finance overall, and at least 5 years in a managerial finance operations role within a shared service centre or freight forwarding industry.
