About the Role
Senior Project Managers will oversee a broad portfolio of infrastructure programmes—including aviation, roads, rail, telecommunications and utilities—managing the full project lifecycle from planning through to handover. Core responsibilities include applying project‑management principles, delivering to client objectives, contract administration, financial management, project controls and health, safety, quality and environmental governance. Leaders are expected to build and develop high‑performing teams, handle stakeholder relationships and drive solutions under pressure. • Manage complex infrastructure projects and programmes across the full lifecycle using NEC3/NEC4 contracts. • Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration in ambiguous environments. • Maintain client relationships and stakeholder engagement, acting as a trusted advisor. • Control financial performance, project controls, and health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. • Solve complex problems analytically and deliver workable solutions under pressure. • Oversee multiple work streams with effective planning, communication, and organization.

What You Bring
Following strong growth and continued delivery success, Turner & Townsend is recruiting Senior Project Managers accredited in NEC3 and NEC4 to lead high‑profile infrastructure projects. The role is based in London with a hybrid working pattern and will involve collaboration with colleagues and client teams across the South‑East region. Successful candidates will mentor junior project managers and contribute to the firm’s reputation as an industry leader. Additional experience that will be valued includes procurement and management of NEC contracts, coordination of contractors, consultants and other advisors, and prior work on public‑sector or arm‑s’ body infrastructure projects. Experience in consultancy or client‑side project management is also advantageous. Candidates must hold NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager accreditation and possess a degree or HND in a relevant management, construction or infrastructure discipline, or equivalent experience. Professional affiliation with bodies such as APM, ICE or similar, and project‑management certifications (APM, PRINCE2, MSP) are preferred. • Hold NEC3 or NEC4 accreditation and a relevant degree or HND. • Possess professional membership or near‑qualified status with APM, ICE, or similar bodies. • Preferable certifications include PRINCE2, MSP, or APM. • Beneficial experience includes procurement, managing NEC contracts, contractor and consultant coordination, and public‑sector infrastructure projects.
