About the Role
In this position you will manage end‑to‑end weekly and monthly payroll processing, including superannuation, tax, and leave payments, while maintaining up‑to‑date employee payroll records. You will support staff and management with payroll queries, interpret awards and agreements for overtime and shift allowances, and calculate annual leave, long‑service leave, and termination payments. Additional duties include processing pay increases, back‑pay, maintaining electronic employee files for legal compliance, and generating payroll reports for internal and statutory requirements. • Process weekly and monthly payroll, including superannuation, tax, and leave payments. • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and electronic files to meet legal requirements. • Provide payroll support to staff and management and resolve related queries. • Interpret awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime, shift allowances, and leave provisions. • Calculate and process annual leave, long‑service leave accruals, termination payments, pay increases, and back‑pay. • Generate payroll reports for internal and statutory compliance.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has at least two years of payroll experience and a degree or diploma in HR or Accounting. Proficiency with large payroll systems and intermediate MS Excel skills are required, and SAP experience is highly regarded. A solid understanding of Australian PAYG tax, superannuation, payroll tax legislation and compliance obligations is essential, as is a team‑player attitude, strong customer service focus, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines. • Possess at least 2 years of payroll experience and a HR or Accounting degree/diploma. • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency with large payroll systems and MS Excel; SAP experience preferred. • Understand Australian PAYG tax, superannuation, and payroll tax legislation and compliance. • Exhibit strong teamwork, customer‑service focus, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
