About the Role

The Service Account Leader is responsible for service customer account leadership, driving labor and material growth and executing the service business for the assigned customer base. This role ensures profitability, productivity, customer relationship development, employee development, retention, and safety program compliance. The leader sets and monitors gross‑margin goals, drives L&M growth through technicians and team leads, and manages warranty‑related customer issues. Responsibilities also include procuring and maintaining fleet and tools inventory, supervising service delivery processes, approving quotations, and handling budgeting, forecasting, and accounts payable/receivable. The position maintains appropriate staffing levels, oversees hiring, training, and transition of new employees, conducts formal performance reviews, and ensures day‑to‑day service team performance while upholding safety standards. • Lead service customer account growth, driving profitability and productivity • Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction • Develop, retain, and coach service team members while ensuring safety compliance • Set and monitor gross‑margin targets for labor and material (L&M) work • Drive L&M growth through technicians and team leads; oversee warranty issue resolution • Procure and maintain fleet and tools inventory; supervise service delivery audits • Review and approve all L&M quotations; handle budgeting, forecasting, and payables/receivables • Maintain staffing levels, conduct performance reviews, and manage hiring/training

What You Bring

Candidates must have technical school training or equivalent experience in HVAC or building controls, three or more years of management experience in a service delivery environment, and strong prioritization, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Additional qualifications include basic financial accounting, MS Office proficiency, and a preferred diploma in electronic or mechanical systems; five plus years in a similar service management role is ideal. • Require technical school training or equivalent HVAC/building‑controls experience • Minimum three years of management experience in a service delivery setting • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills • Basic financial accounting knowledge and MS Office proficiency • Preferred diploma in electronic or mechanical systems and five+ years in service management
