About the Role

Facilitate Agile Processes: Act as a servant leader and run all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Guide and coach the development team and product owner in adopting Agile best practices and adhering to Scrum principles. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to remove impediments and foster a collaborative, self‑organizing environment that encourages creativity, transparency, and continuous improvement. Project Management: Work closely with the product owner to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clear, concise, and actionable. Assist in estimating and planning sprints, monitor sprint progress, and ensure sprint goals are met. Track and report key project metrics such as velocity and burndown to provide transparency to stakeholders, while continuously monitoring risks and dependencies and proactively addressing potential issues. Coach and Mentor: Guide and mentor the development team on Agile practices, empowering them to become self‑organized and cross‑functional. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement through feedback, knowledge sharing, and promotion of Agile principles and values. Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project goals. • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives). • Coach development team and product owner on Agile best practices and Scrum principles. • Remove impediments and foster a self‑organizing, collaborative team environment. • Define, prioritize, and refine the product backlog with the product owner. • Estimate, plan sprints and monitor progress to meet sprint goals. • Track and report metrics such as velocity and burndown for stakeholder visibility. • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues affecting delivery. • Mentor the team to promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and Agile values. • Ensure effective communication and alignment across stakeholders.

Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Pune. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate the Agile development process and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, while guiding and coaching the development team, product owner, and organization on Agile principles and practices. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Five to ten years of software development experience, with at least three to five years in a Scrum Master role. Proven expertise in agile methodologies and frameworks, a strong technical background in software engineering practices, and preferably a Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent). • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Possess 5–10 years of software development experience, including 3–5 years as a Scrum Master. • Demonstrate a strong technical background in software engineering practices. • Preferred Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
