About the Role

The Senior Marketing Coordinator supports business development and brand initiatives across HDR’s transportation practice. Responsibilities include preparing proposal and interview materials, monitoring solicitation status, managing client relationship and financial data, maintaining business development systems, and coordinating professional photography. The role also drives strategic planning, growth initiatives, client‑plan development, content marketing, social‑media campaigns, and the creation of marketing collateral and internal communications. Additionally, the coordinator plans large internal meetings, manages branded‑material inventories, mentors staff, and articulates HDR’s capabilities to clients and partners. • Prepare persuasive proposal and interview materials for pursuit teams. • Monitor client and industry websites to track solicitation status. • File and organize proposal and presentation materials after submission. • Manage client relationship and financial data to support reporting dashboards. • Maintain accurate project and resume information in business development systems. • Coordinate professional photography for project documentation. • Support development and execution of annual and long‑term strategic growth plans. • Implement client acquisition strategies and solicit formal client feedback. • Administer HDR’s go/no‑go decision process per the Matrix of Authority. • Lead content‑marketing initiatives, including digital content creation and social‑media campaigns. • Produce marketing collateral and internal communications such as announcements, presentations, videos, and webinars. • Plan and coordinate large internal meetings (in‑person and virtual) and manage branded‑material inventory. • Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry’s procurement processes, and willingness to travel for in‑person engagements. Required qualifications are at least two years of relevant experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign, and a self‑starter mindset capable of delivering projects with limited oversight. • Articulate HDR’s capabilities and competitive advantages to clients and partners. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred). • Deep knowledge of A/E/C industry procurement practices (preferred). • Ability and willingness to travel for in‑person engagements (preferred). • Minimum two years of relevant industry experience (required). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (required). • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign (required). • Demonstrated self‑starter attitude with ability to complete projects independently (required).
