Job Highlights
About the Role
Essential duties include operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations, conducting pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, and reporting any unsafe situations or incidents to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Drivers attend required training, briefings, and meetings, work with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency, and assist other drivers as directed. They are responsible for dumping containers, leaving customer sites clean, positioning containers properly, completing customer tickets for excess yardage, and submitting all required documentation at the end of each route. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely following OSHA, DOT, and company regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Attend all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, and position containers correctly. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage and complete end‑of‑route documentation.

What You Bring
Qualifications: No formal education or prior experience is required, but applicants must hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, be at least 18 years old, have an acceptable driving record, and successfully complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle record review.
