About the Role
• Coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects • Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures • Write and edit mechanical specifications and select mechanical systems and devices • Utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads, energy analysis, and equipment selections • Prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design, including drawings, specifications, and reports • Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects • Supervise Mechanical CAD Technicians and coordinate design with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines • Handle construction contract administration, including field inspections and conflict resolution

What You Bring
• Industrial, Tech/Media/Telecom, Healthcare, Science and Technology, and/or Civic facilities experience • Experience or interest in sustainable design/LEED (desired but not required) • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate; candidates without EIT will be titled "Coordinator" and expected to obtain EIT for career progression • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and equipment selection software)
