Job Highlights
About the Role
The role includes setting up trailers, interpreting blueprints to determine material needs, building decks, stairs, roofs, and temporary structures, and installing shelves and erosion‑control measures. The carpenter will also hand‑set forms, assist journeymen and foremen with grading and elevation work, and manage the unloading and erection of prefabricated components. • Set up trailers, tool trailers/conexes, and erosion‑control measures such as silt fences and straw bales. • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to calculate material quantities and dimensions. • Construct decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, and install shelving. • Hand‑set forms and assemble gang forms for concrete work. • Assist journeymen and foremen with grade and elevation shooting. • Unload, stockpile, and erect prefabricated components on site. • Perform concrete and rough carpentry, including walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural decks, drywall, finish carpentry, doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and cabinetry. • Foster collaborative relationships with diverse team members and stakeholders.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of carpentry experience, and preferably a trade or technical school certification. Strong teamwork, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to visualize objects from drawings are required, along with the physical ability to perform repetitive movements and lift up to 50 lb (heavier loads with assistance). • Lift and move up to 50 lb; handle heavier loads with a partner or equipment.
