About the Role
The Lead Engineer coordinates multi‑disciplined engineering projects in systems engineering, acting as an expert resource for engineers and test‑lab teams, identifying project opportunities, and mentoring engineers on disclosures, patent applications, technical publications and external presentations. • Develop requirements, architecture, integration, verification and validation plans for eMobility low voltage and power conversion products at system level. • Create sub‑system level requirements, PDSC, DFMEA, DAP, RMSC, DVPs and define hardware‑software interface requirements. • Verify requirements and conduct design reviews to meet performance, size, cost, manufacturability, and reliability targets for hybrid and electric vehicles. • Lead model‑based systems engineering functional excellence initiatives. • Drive predictive analytics and analytical problem‑solving to improve NPI/NTI and product engineering effectiveness as measured by business KPIs. • Apply technical processes to ensure reliability growth, root‑cause analysis, and design robustness using DFSS, CTQs, requirement scorecards, and FMEA; champion continuous improvement. • Decompose requirements and identify verification methods for electromechanical products such as DC‑DC converters, eHeater controllers, and inverters. • Define system architecture for automotive products based on customer requirements. • Plan and conduct performance, reliability/durability, and engineering verification testing.

What You Bring
The role demands high proficiency in engineering, requirements management, system architecture for HV/LV DC‑DC converters, verification and validation, standards, project management and documentation, with the capability to run multiple projects concurrently to accelerate development and validation plans. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, have at least five years of systems engineering experience in electric and commercial vehicle components, and be skilled in requirements engineering, system design, validation, launch, and tools such as MBSE (CAMEO), MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, and Mathcad. Experience with customer requirements management (e.g., JAZZ), multphysics simulations, DFSS, and digital transformation is preferred, along with strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities to build customer relationships and lead high‑performing teams.
