About the Role
The position involves operating various machines to fabricate doors according to work orders, maintaining a safe and organized shop, and ensuring products meet quality standards while supporting timely project completion. • Read and interpret work orders, machining sheets, and templates to configure doors. • Report any discrepancies or defects to the Shop Supervisor. • Operate machines safely and efficiently, performing periodic maintenance and reporting equipment problems. • Complete assignments efficiently to maximize production without compromising safety. • Follow all applicable quality control guidelines. • Notify the Shop Supervisor of late arrivals or early departures. • Keep the work area clean and organized. • Inform the Shop Supervisor upon finishing daily work orders; be prepared for re‑assignment. • Perform work under general supervision. • Handle moderately complex issues and refer more complex problems to higher‑level staff.
