About the Role

During the internship you will support Mechanical Engineering with key activities such as mechanical design of hand and power tools using CAD software, product development in collaboration with design, engineering and manufacturing teams, prototyping and testing of new designs, and design‑for‑manufacturing optimization for cost and feasibility. You will work alongside the Product Design Group, Testing, Regulatory, Quality, Product Marketing and Manufacturing teams on a variety of tasks and projects, gaining hands‑on experience across multiple engineering functions. • Assist in 3D mechanical design of hand and power tools using SolidWorks or AutoCAD. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and improve product designs. • Support prototyping, testing, and performance analysis of new tools. • Optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency, cost, and feasibility. • Work with Product Design, Testing, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Manufacturing groups. • Maintain strong academic standing as a rising junior/senior (target 2027‑2028) in engineering. • Participate in a flexible 40‑hour weekly schedule with hourly pay of $22‑$27.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a rising junior or senior (target graduation 2027‑2028) in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering with strong academic performance, proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and the ability to balance academics with extracurricular activities. • Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software and ability to balance academics with extracurriculars.
