About the Role

A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle meets Company safety standards, follows all regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. The role includes performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, and operating the truck’s manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse. Drivers interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues, and tag unsatisfactory containers according to procedures. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, checking tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, and controls. • Report safety issues on standard forms and complete daily vehicle condition reports. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and disposing of waste at designated facilities. • Follow route sheets and maps, serving each customer as directed by dispatch. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers, ensuring timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and clean accidental spills following safety standards. • Keep the truck and packer blade clean during each disposal trip to maintain operational readiness. • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports accurately. • Meet productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies and the Company’s ReSOP program.

What You Bring
