About the Role
The role focuses on internal review activities, including the preparation and assessment of compliance documentation and comprehensive evaluation of construction, operational, and financial processes. • Analyze company policies and develop testing protocols to ensure compliance. • Select representative sample transactions, review documentation, and verify proper approvals. • Analyze profit center forecasts and reports to detect unusual activity. • Evaluate reports, schedules, and correspondence from profit centers and project management for policy compliance. • Create summary reports with findings and recommendations, and discuss with process owners and management. • Maintain work programs, templates, and matrices to document test results. • Follow processes to archive findings and supporting documentation. • Participate in policy discussions with stakeholders and update review materials to reflect current directives. • Conduct data analytics by gathering, cleaning, and verifying data, then create dashboards and reports for decision‑making. • Apply audit procedures, including planning, testing, and sampling methods. • Prepare audit and other reports using effective written and verbal communication. • Exercise independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions.

The work environment varies between office, remote, and on‑site construction locations, with exposure to typical construction hazards and noise levels. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least three years of audit or construction accounting experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit standards. • Understand accounting implications of contract terms related to profitability and risk management. • Exhibit high organizational skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. • Ability to quickly learn company policies and systems. • Self‑motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and integrity in a professional environment. • Travel extensively, up to 35% of the time.
