About the Role
Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring the process team, managing staffing and workloads to meet billable goals, ensuring compliance with AECOM’s quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement of engineering work processes. The position also supports proposal development, budget creation, and client engagement to expand business opportunities. • Supervise and mentor all process engineering team members, conducting performance reviews and career development. • Coordinate staffing, workload balancing, and hiring to meet project demands and billable goals. • Ensure engineering deliverables meet AECOM quality and safety standards, including QA/QC reviews and ITR processes. • Lead business development efforts by creating execution plans, scopes of work, and budgets for proposals. • Oversee resource planning, labor forecasting, and continuous improvement of engineering work processes. • Maintain compliance with health and safety training and promote behavior‑based safety culture.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BA/BS and have at least ten years of relevant industrial, refinery, or power‑facility engineering experience; preferred qualifications include PE licensure, supervisory experience, and expertise with engineering analysis software. The role is based in Houston, TX with a hybrid work model, offering a salary range of $190,000–$235,000 and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, flexible work options, and professional development programs. • Minimum qualifications: BA/BS and 10 years relevant industrial or power‑facility engineering experience. • Preferred qualifications: PE licensure, 5+ years supervisory experience, extensive refinery/NGL project leadership, proficiency with Aspen/HYSYS, Arrow, Fathom, Promax, Pipe‑flo, and HAZOPs.
