About the Role
The role is business‑critical, requiring close collaboration with contractors, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to maintain accurate schedules and uphold NEC contract compliance. The planner will also act as the voice of Planning in meetings and foster clear communication between technical and non‑technical groups. • Create and manage schedules in Primavera P6 aligned with internal planning standards. • Collaborate with contractors to agree on updates and changes before formal submission. • Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements and support management of compensation events. • Engage delivery teams and stakeholders to gather updates and maintain schedule accuracy. • Represent Planning in meetings with senior internal stakeholders and external partners. • Champion communication between technical and non‑technical teams.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least five years of planning experience, ideally within infrastructure or utilities, strong expertise in Primavera P6 (or similar software), and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, problem‑solving attitude is essential, and experience in the water sector or familiarity with NEC contracts is desirable. • Minimum five years’ planning experience, preferably in infrastructure or utilities. • Strong proficiency with P6 or equivalent planning software. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Proactive, problem‑solving mindset. • Desirable: experience in the water sector and familiarity with NEC contracts. • All shortlisted candidates must complete a P6 test during the interview process.

The Capital Project Planner role is based in Falmer with hybrid working, full‑time permanent (37 hours per week) and a salary up to £52,000 depending on experience.
