About the Role

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for making, installing, and repairing a wide variety of sheet‑metal products. The individual selects suitable material, lays out work using blueprints, sketches, work orders, or verbal instructions, and marks reference points with shop mathematics to calculate angles and curves. They cut flat material and shape it into three‑dimensional forms using hand and power‑driven tools and fabricating machines, and operate equipment such as punch presses, power shears, hydraulic brakes, and EHRT machines. • Set up and operate punch press, power shear, hydraulic brakes, and EHRT machines. • Prepare and maintain sheet‑metal parts, fixtures, and equipment. • Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and work orders to fabricate products. • Fit and join components using rivets, welding, or soldering; grind and buff seams. • Inspect finished work for quality and conformance to specifications. • Move materials using forklift or pallet jack.

What You Bring

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship and reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location, unless they are active‑duty military. A high school diploma or GED and at least two years of relevant experience, including work with weld light, heavy‑gauge aluminum, stainless steel, and brass, are required. The successful applicant must be able to develop stretch‑outs, shear cuts, and layouts, read and interpret production and inspection documents, meet production standards, perform quality inspections, lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, communicate effectively, and possess basic math skills. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and live within 50 mi of the site (military exempt). • Minimum high school diploma/GED and 2+ years of relevant sheet‑metal experience. • Experience with weld light, heavy‑gauge aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. • Ability to develop stretch‑outs, shear cuts, layout, and meet production standards. • Capable of lifting 40 lb, standing for long periods, and performing basic math.
