About the Role

Our team delivers a wide range of estimating outputs to support client decision‑making. These services help clients plan, assess risk and manage costs throughout project lifecycles. • Estimate Production (from Order of Magnitude estimates through to detailed estimates built up from first principles) • Estimating Assurance • Estimating Support to Major Programme Set up • Estimating Data • Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects promptly • Control and manage the estimating process at project level • Generate estimates independently without supervision • Support development and promotion of estimating best practice within the firm • Assist in achieving departmental objectives • Stay current on technical developments to provide best‑practice advice aligned with business goals

What You Bring

Due to continued demand and ambitious growth plans, Turner & Townsend is recruiting Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience in the infrastructure sector (rail, airports, highways, power, water or utilities) for our London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester offices. Estimators act as embedded resources for clients or on ad‑hoc projects through the Estimating Hub, supporting UK‑based and, as workload requires, global clients, with the possibility of remote work from the UK. • Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experience • Proven experience delivering estimating and/or QS services on large projects • Experience using estimating software packages • Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards it (e.g., RICS, CIOB, A.C.E.)
