About the Role
The role is an HSE Engineer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, supporting project operations by implementing Parsons’ Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) programs, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements. You will assist the project manager in administering site‑specific SH&E programs, conduct audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards, prepare detailed reports, monitor work planning against the Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP), manage incident reporting and training records, and participate in daily safety briefings. • Assist the project manager in implementing site‑specific SH&E programs. • Conduct audits of project sites to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations. • Inspect worksites to identify hazards and provide technical expertise to control risks. • Prepare and submit detailed reports for audits, inspections, and site observations. • Monitor work planning and performance to align with the ESHARP program. • Implement occupational injury, incident reporting, and case management procedures. • Maintain and update SH&E training records according to project and corporate requirements. • Participate in daily safe‑work briefings with project teams.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in safety, health, environmental, or a related engineering discipline, and possess recognized health‑and‑safety certifications such as ADVETI, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001, or NEBOSH. A minimum of 12 years of H&S experience on construction or infrastructure projects, strong knowledge of local and international regulations, and excellent communication skills are required. Desired attributes include the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients, suppliers and regulators, and strong analytical skills to evaluate risk trends and recommend corrective actions.
