About the Role

In this position you will leverage extensive mechanical design experience to deliver high‑quality, efficient and commercially sound solutions. You will provide technical leadership, conduct senior‑level design reviews and assurance, and ensure consistent quality across multiple concurrent projects. Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams is essential, requiring review of calculations, specifications, drawings and documentation. You will also mentor junior engineers, guiding them in the preparation of high‑quality mechanical design deliverables. • Lead mechanical design and delivery for health, defence, transport, sports and data centre projects across ANZ. • Provide technical leadership, conduct senior‑level design reviews and ensure design assurance. • Manage multiple technical projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and timely delivery. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing calculations, specifications, drawings and documentation. • Mentor and support junior engineers in producing high‑quality mechanical design deliverables.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate brings more than 12 years of experience in building services consultancy or senior mechanical contracting roles, with RPEV and CPEng registration preferred. A proven track record in technical design, project delivery and client relationship management, plus deep knowledge of Australian standards and codes, is required. Strong communication, mentoring abilities and a proactive mindset for innovation are also valued, while Australian citizenship or prior Defence clearance is highly regarded. • 12+ years experience in building services consultancy or senior mechanical contracting roles. • RPEV and CPEng registration preferred. • Proven track record in technical design, project delivery, and client relationship management. • In‑depth knowledge of Australian building services standards and codes. • Excellent communication, mentoring skills and proactive approach to innovation. • Australian citizenship or prior Defence clearance highly regarded.
