About the Role
The Energy Analyst is an entry‑level position responsible for providing reporting and analytical support for utility management, energy and sustainability metrics, and client key performance indicators. The role involves preparing standard energy and sustainability reports, managing energy data, conducting simple analyses, and supporting KPI and contract deliverables. It also includes performing weather‑correction calculations, assisting the Energy & Sustainability and Accounts Payable teams to identify billing anomalies, and evaluating demand‑side management opportunities by flagging buildings for further energy‑efficiency review. • Prepare and manage standard energy and sustainability reports, including KPI and contract deliverables. • Perform weather‑correction calculations to adjust for seasonal energy usage. • Assist in tariff analysis by detecting billing anomalies and data entry errors. • Identify buildings for demand‑side management evaluation to uncover energy‑efficiency projects.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a technologist diploma, preferably in Mechanical or a related field, and have up to one year of relevant experience. Required skills include advanced MS Excel, strong MS Word, familiarity with MS Access or other databases, solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and knowledge of energy units, utility tariffs, and financial reporting. Good communication, interpersonal, and administrative documentation skills are also essential. No professional licenses are required. • Utilize advanced MS Excel, MS Word, and preferably MS Access/database tools for analysis. • Apply knowledge of energy units, utility measurement conversions, and tariff structures. • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills. • Hold a technologist diploma (Mechanical or related) with up to one year of relevant experience.
