About the Role

The position involves testing and consulting services for the built environment, including property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities‑related services. These activities support the evaluation and improvement of existing building enclosures. • Conduct inspections of building enclosures • Perform building enclosure testing • Carry out building enclosure assessments • Execute air leakage testing • Observe construction quality assurance • Assess roofing conditions • Review design specifications • Conduct field performance testing • Provide building enclosure commissioning consulting • Perform occasional field and laboratory testing • Assist in preparation of reports, proposals, and project documentation • Interact with senior staff on various projects • Schedule and oversee facilities technicians • Mentor other staff members • Promote a safe workplace and proper use of PPE

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by the NAAB, or a BS in Engineering, Building Science, or a related ABET‑accredited degree is preferred. Applicants need 0–2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience, or alternatively four years as an ECS Facilities Staff Associate or an equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education. Experience with non‑destructive testing is advantageous. • Exhibit responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self‑motivation
