About the Role
The OHE Laborer/Groundman prepares and cleans construction sites, supports the construction team, and works closely with department personnel to ensure projects run smoothly. This field‑based role involves handling materials, operating equipment, and assisting skilled tradespeople as needed. • Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and hazards. • Assist tradesmen to improve efficiency of skilled tasks. • Identify utilities and monitor dig crew to prevent utility strikes; assist with manual digging. • Clean and maintain equipment. • Restock trucks with tools and supplies for crew use. • Perform seed and straw placement.

What You Bring
The position is physically demanding, requiring frequent bending, squatting, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lb), and work in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, ice, or snow.
