About the Role
The Senior Mechanic will lead the maintenance team to ensure optimal building operations across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, blending hands‑on technical work with supervisory duties while emphasizing preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and staff development. • Supervise maintenance service requests and lead a team of mechanics • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire/life safety equipment • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and programs • Train and mentor junior mechanics on procedures and safety protocols • Conduct regular building rounds, monitor system readings, and maintain engineering logs • Coordinate warranty work and installations with contractors, managing relationships and inventories • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hazardous material handling, and emergency response procedures

What You Bring
• Required: extensive building maintenance experience, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, supervisory experience, troubleshooting skills, preventive maintenance understanding, safety communication • Preferred: technical certification or degree in facilities management or engineering, building automation systems experience, OSHA certification, commercial real‑estate facilities background, familiarity with JLL engineering guidelines

Benefits
This on‑site position is located in Atlanta, GA, with a night shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, and offers a salary range of $56,000 to $63,000. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as the role does not provide visa sponsorship.
