About the Role

The HVAC Installation Technician supports the installation of residential and/or light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals beginning their HVAC career who are eager to learn the trade, develop technical skills, and gain hands‑on experience under the guidance of experienced technicians. The technician assists with equipment installation, jobsite preparation, and system setup while adhering to safety and quality standards. • Assist with installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats. • Support senior technicians with jobsite setup, material handling, and equipment staging. • Follow installation plans, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures. • Perform basic measurements, cutting, and material assembly as directed. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Properly use, maintain, and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles. • Learn and adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and HVAC best practices. • Communicate professionally with team members and customers. • Follow instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures. • Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, and climbing ladders for extended periods.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. • Work effectively in varying weather conditions and jobsite environments. • Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Work safely in confined spaces including attics, basements, crawlspaces, and rooftops. • Possess the required licensing as indicated (License Required: Yes).
