About the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for general plant and mine labor, cleaning production areas, and shoveling stone from around conveyors. They will receive training for various entry‑level production positions and provide coverage during vacations, absences, or periods of increased demand. Additional duties include reporting equipment problems, performing light maintenance on belt lines, completing pre‑shift equipment reports, and assisting coworkers as directed. • Perform plant and mine clean‑up, including shoveling stone and maintaining production areas • Fill in across entry‑level production roles during vacations, absences, or peak demand • Report equipment issues to management and conduct light maintenance on belt lines • Complete pre‑shift equipment reports when required • Follow all safety policies and maintain safe working conditions • Participate in 401(k) plan with company match after one year of service

The General Utility Worker position is a full‑time role that will float between our asphalt plants in Canton, Henderson, Marion, and Hopkinsville. Starting pay is $22 per hour for entry‑level candidates and will be adjusted based on experience and skill set.
