About the Role

The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes, performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and ensuring the vehicle complies with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. Drivers work closely with operations managers to improve route efficiency, handle incidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes while complying with OSHA, DOT, and company regulations. • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report any issues. • Load, transport, and safely dump containers, ensuring customer sites are left clean and containers are positioned correctly. • Communicate customer requests, incidents, and route problems to dispatch or the Operations Manager promptly. • Follow route assignments, submit required documentation, and assist fellow drivers as directed.
