What You Bring
The Designer 4 position is the fourth level in the Designer classification, requiring advanced technical expertise and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Incumbents provide leadership and project management within their area of expertise, handling un‑reviewed work and solving complex problems. • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing • 8+ years experience with BS in Engineering Technology, or 10+ years with Associate degree, or 15+ years experience without a degree • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation • Ability to work with individuals from diverse socio‑economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds • Strong written and oral communication skills • Experience in the utility industry • Self‑motivated and able to work independently • Team‑oriented and customer‑focused • Skilled in principles of project management
