About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer III‑IV will create basic designs under senior guidance, perform equipment selections, and conduct load, energy, and pressure‑drop calculations across various project sizes. The role advances from simple assignments to more complex projects while collaborating with a technical team. • Create basic designs under senior engineer direction. • Perform equipment selections and load/energy/pressure‑drop calculations. • Represent Syska Hennessy Group and coordinate with internal design team, clients, consultants, and vendors. • Conduct field inspections and assess existing conditions. • Assist senior engineer with due‑diligence, feasibility, gap analysis, and technical drawings using CAD/Revit. • Organize master drawings according to company standards. • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assignments. • Attend continuing‑education seminars.

What You Bring
The position requires strong Revit and MEP skills, proficiency with AutoCAD MEP, and familiarity with construction documentation, system selection, and applicable codes. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, possess 3.5–7+ years of MEP experience in sectors such as aviation, healthcare, commercial, or mission‑critical, and have FE certification. • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and MEP mark‑ups to detailed drawings. • Knowledge of construction documentation and design phase requirements. • Experience with energy analysis tools (eQuest, Trace) preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 3.5–7+ years MEP experience in aviation, healthcare, commercial, or mission‑critical projects. • FE certification. • Familiarity with system selection and applicable codes. • Preferred experience in mission‑critical, science & technology, healthcare, and interest in project management.
