About the Role

The Quality Assurance Engineering Specialist role helps shape and implement Digital Solutions’ strategic direction within the Energy industry. The position is part of an innovative Software Engineering team delivering intelligent, connected technologies for monitoring and controlling energy extraction assets. The team builds tools that enable customers to perform real‑time monitoring of remote operations. As a QA Engineer you will test new features, ensure functionality and quality, and collaborate with peers to continuously improve testing processes in a fast‑moving environment. • Own medium‑sized quality engineering tasks and mentor team members. • Make technology decisions and analyze their impact. • Apply SDLC principles and Agile/Lean methodologies, including CI, security, scalability, documentation, refactoring and testing techniques. • Integrate project testing with continuous‑integration pipelines. • Diagnose bugs with teammates and devise solutions. • Provide expertise in test planning, quality engineering and testing methodology. • Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional and regression scenarios.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA) with 1‑2 years of relevant experience. • Proficient in Java for white‑box testing. • Experience with Selenium for UI automation. • Familiarity with testing web services (SOAP/REST) and performance/load testing. • Knowledge of virtual machines as part of test/integration infrastructure. • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. • Persistent, results‑driven and able to work effectively in a team.
