About the Role

The Assistant Foreman plays a crucial role in delivering projects profitably by providing hands‑on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating closely with project leadership. This position bridges operational execution and team supervision to maintain high standards of service and efficiency. Key duties include mobilizing and decommissioning equipment for pumping, power generation, HVAC, energy, and temporary utility systems, as well as participating in rapid disaster restoration and emergency response efforts. The role also emphasizes safety leadership, hazard identification, and risk mitigation to protect both personnel and project outcomes. • Lead setup and teardown of equipment for pumping, power generation, HVAC, energy, and temporary utility systems. • Support rapid deployment of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response. • Promote a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies and procedures. • Identify hazards and implement controls to minimize project risk. • Collaborate with Project Leads to monitor timelines and allocate resources efficiently. • Ensure equipment operates efficiently to meet project deadlines and profitability goals.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical certifications in mechanics or engineering considered a plus. Relevant experience with mechanical, maintenance, or related roles—especially involving bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, HVAC, or construction equipment—is required, along with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or engineering are a plus. • Bring prior experience with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, HVAC, or construction equipment. • Demonstrate strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and the ability to read technical manuals and schematics. • Apply strong analytical, problem‑solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
