About the Role
You will be in charge of the safety and security aspects of your designated site, preventing security lapses and acting as the first responder to both emergency and non‑emergency situations. Security planning, risk assessment and formulating effective guarding strategies are key responsibility areas, alongside managing staff, policies, investigations and emergency coordination. The role is based on‑site in Gurugram with a scheduled weekly workload of 48 hours. You will also be responsible for budgeting related to security requirements and staffing. • Supervise security staff, assign work, and provide training in daily procedures, customer service, basic life safety and first aid. • Maintain and update security policies, checklists and the procedure manual. • Maintain working knowledge of building security panels and fire‑life safety code requirements. • Manage manpower records for on‑roll and contract staff, including training, compliance documents and scheduling. • Ensure weekly fire drills are conducted for security and unit staff. • Patrol designated areas, use surveillance equipment, control access points, investigate incidents, prepare reports and track lost‑and‑found items. • Communicate regularly with property managers, team members and clients about events, incidents, staffing needs and recommendations. • Approve and interview contract security staff hires. • Provide customer‑related briefings to all site employees. • Conduct weekly meetings with vendor operations heads and share minutes with the property manager and client. • Review after‑hours security reports and monitor staff performance. • Coordinate emergency response, including transferring injured persons to the nearest hospital and liaising with medical and legal authorities. • Draft disaster management plans in coordination with site team members and the property manager. • Play a key role in emergencies such as fires, evacuations and human crises. • Participate in performance and behavior meetings for contract staff and manage security budgets.
