About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager, supervising personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management while ensuring compliance with Asset policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing guidelines. • Oversee all on‑site operations of a housing community, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair‑housing guidelines. • Recruit, train, schedule, and lead staff while addressing performance issues and fostering a collaborative work environment. • Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor rent collection, vendor invoicing, and drive net operating income through cost control and revenue enhancements. • Create and execute yearly marketing plans, handle leasing activities, and implement resident retention programs to maintain high occupancy. • Ensure accurate administrative and leasing reporting, lead emergency response teams, and supervise maintenance to uphold property appearance and timely repairs. • Meet physical demands of standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb, and maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least two years of experience with affordable housing programs such as LIHTC, HUD Section 8, USDA Rural Development, and related funds; affordable‑housing accreditation is preferred but not required. Education requirements include a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or equivalent experience, with certifications like Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) favored; candidates must be proficient with on‑site software and understand Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
