About the Role

The Technician II will deliver high‑quality installations for integrated security systems, handling startup, installation, closeout, and service tasks while supporting design efforts and meeting Bosch Building Technologies’ commitments. • Install, terminate, and test equipment according to specifications and relevant building/electrical codes. • Train apprentices on company procedures, systems, and installation techniques. • Collaborate with Field Engineers during startup to ensure system compliance. • Communicate daily with Installation Supervisor about delays, requirements, and job status. • Coordinate closeout and turnover of jobs with Installation Supervisor, client, and service department. • Repair, restore, and test all systems per specifications and applicable codes. • Maintain accurate written records and submit them on time. • Hold and maintain required professional licensing for state and local jurisdictions. • Support, lead, and mentor team members. • Design system layouts. • Uphold high safety standards and professionalism. • Lead site projects and manage junior technicians as needed. • Solve practical problems and work with minimal supervision. • Organize workload for effective implementation. • Complete projects on time and within budget. • Perform regular physical activities such as standing, climbing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lb; occasional work at heights over 1.8 m. • Use power tools and maintain required vision capabilities. • Work in outdoor weather conditions, job sites, and occasional construction environments with moderate noise levels. • Travel locally to job sites 100 % of the time.

Working conditions involve exposure to outdoor weather, job‑site environments, travel between locations, and occasional construction equipment, with moderate noise levels and possible confined‑space entry. California residents are provided with a specific privacy notice regarding the collection and use of their personal information in compliance with state law. • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. • Experience with CCTV and access control systems. • Pass pre‑employment screening. • Minimum two years in electronics with daily AC/DC theory application. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics (at least one year of experience). • Basic computer skills, including MS Office (at least one year of experience). • Aptitude for learning system programming (at least one year of experience). • Associate degree in a technical field (preferred). • Three or more years in electronics with daily AC/DC theory use (preferred). • Proficient in proper hand and power tool operation and safety. • Write simple correspondence and present information in small groups. • Interact effectively across diverse cultures and organizational levels. • Adapt to evolving external environments and organizational changes. • Hold access control certification (preferred). • Hold CCTV certification (preferred).
