About the Role

Assembler 1 – Line 1 pioneers the next generation of innovation at Rolls‑Royce, offering an international environment where employees develop their skills to the highest levels. The role involves assembling generator sets and sub‑assemblies for both standard and non‑standard product lines using hand and power tools while adhering to quality and procedural standards. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting mechanical instructions, drawings, and schematics to perform assembly duties on Line 1 HPR units, cross‑training in multiple assembly areas, and providing support where needed. The assembler must recognize defective or damaged parts, ensure quality workmanship, follow safety and environmental procedures, and promote a culture of compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct. Participation in continuous‑improvement initiatives and special projects is also expected. • Read and interpret mechanical instructions, drawings, and schematics to assemble generator sets on Line 1 HPR units. • Cross‑train in multiple assembly areas and assist where needed. • Identify and report defective or damaged parts and ensure quality compliance. • Follow safety, environmental procedures, and the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct. • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and participate in special projects.
