About the Role

Assembler 1 – Line 1 pioneers the next generation of innovation at Rolls‑Royce, offering an international environment where employees develop their skills to the highest levels. The role involves assembling generator sets and sub‑assemblies for both standard and non‑standard product lines using hand and power tools while adhering to quality and procedural standards. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting mechanical instructions, drawings, and schematics to perform assembly duties on Line 1 HPR units, cross‑training in multiple assembly areas, and providing support where needed. The assembler must recognize defective or damaged parts, ensure quality workmanship, follow safety and environmental procedures, and promote a culture of compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct. Participation in continuous‑improvement initiatives and special projects is also expected. • Read and interpret mechanical instructions, drawings, and schematics to assemble generator sets on Line 1 HPR units. • Cross‑train in multiple assembly areas and assist where needed. • Identify and report defective or damaged parts and ensure quality compliance. • Follow safety, environmental procedures, and the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct. • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and participate in special projects.

What You Bring

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and possess at least three years of mechanical experience using hand and power tools, with the ability to lift and carry 50 lb frequently. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic problem‑solving abilities, and capability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Preferred qualities are strong oral and written communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability to evolving technology. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience using hand and power tools; able to lift 50 lb frequently. • High school diploma or GED; strong problem‑solving and repetitive‑task skills. • Effective oral and written communication; teamwork orientation. • Attention to detail, quality focus, and ability to adapt to new technology.
