About the Role
We are seeking a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman to join our Field Operations team supporting projects in the Pensacola/Hurlburt Field area, with occasional travel throughout the Southeast as needed. The role will work on‑site with our field crews to deliver sheet‑metal work on design‑build contracts. The Foreman directs daily supervision, coordination, and safety of assigned sheet‑metal crews to produce quality work that meets project requirements, budget, and schedule. This responsibility is performed in alignment with RQ’s mission, vision, and six core values: Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline. • Supervise and coordinate sheet metal crews on fast‑track design‑build projects. • Ensure work complies with safety, quality, budget, schedule, and RQ’s six core values. • Manage information flow, resolve site issues, and plan daily tasks effectively. • Communicate with supervisors, subcontractors, and stakeholders via multiple channels. • Lead crew scheduling, labor, material, and resource allocation to meet milestones. • Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and enforce compliance with regulations. • Maintain cooperative relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.

What You Bring
Key competencies include information management, decision‑making, planning and organization, effective communication, team leadership, scheduling and resource management, safety and quality control, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills enable the foreperson to coordinate crew activities, resolve on‑site issues, and maintain compliance with codes and RQ safety procedures. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; college coursework in construction management or engineering is preferred. Required experience includes at least two years supervising sheet‑metal trades on medium or large projects and three years of field or trade work, preferably on government, military, or large commercial projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is mandatory, and certifications such as CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS are required, with training provided for additional software like Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit. Benefits
Compensation is $45.00–$50.00 per hour, dependent on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) plan with company match. • Compensation: $45‑$50 per hour DOE; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k match.
