About the Role

• Conduct structural analysis of bridges, including complex calculations for various bridge types • Perform hands‑on bridge safety inspections in the field • Develop load rating calculations and models using commercial bridge analysis software and finite element modeling • Prepare detailed technical reports on bridge conditions, including field inspection reports, repair recommendations, repair schemes, and cost estimates • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale bridge projects • Develop and implement bridge maintenance and rehabilitation strategies • Utilize advanced software for 3D modeling and simulation of bridge structures • Participate in project planning and budgeting processes • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations • Contribute to the development of innovative bridge design and inspection techniques • Represent the company in client meetings and industry conferences

What You Bring

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer / Program Manager to lead bridge inspection services for large transportation projects in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Based in Conshohocken, PA, the role combines office and field work, including bridge load‑rating analysis, finite‑element modeling, and hands‑on inspections of a variety of bridge structures. The position offers professional growth and the chance to work on both complex long‑span bridges and a high volume of less‑complex bridges. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10 years of related experience (or equivalent) • NBIS Certified Bridge Inspector credentials • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Strong oral and written communication skills
