CDL Container Driver
Drive a CDL truck to collect and dump waste containers on assigned routes.
Job Highlights
About the Role
Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while keeping the vehicle clean and safe. • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report and report any issues for corrective action. • Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Route Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers and perform duties as assigned by Route Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers to avoid blocking driveways or traffic. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage and complete all end‑of‑route documentation.
