About the Role
As a member of the Greenhouse Gas Assurance Services group across Canada, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in cutting‑edge verification work for upstream oil and gas in western provinces. You will collaborate with junior, intermediate and senior staff on all aspects of project work, providing mentorship to less‑experienced team members while supporting both existing and new client engagements. • Serve as verifier for upstream oil and gas GHG verifications in Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan. • Prepare proposals, verification plans, sampling plans; conduct site visits, recalculations, and verification reports. • Support GHG verification projects for existing and new clients across Western Canada. • Collaborate with junior, intermediate, and senior staff; mentor junior and intermediate team members. • Contribute to the Greenhouse Gas Assurance Services group nationwide.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Greenhouse Gas Verification – Verifier with experience in verifying greenhouse gas emissions. The role can be based in any of our offices in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental engineering or a related discipline and is eligible for an EIT/P.Eng. designation in BC, Alberta or Saskatchewan. Relevant experience includes at least two years in upstream oil and gas (or related sectors) and one to three years completing GHG verifications, along with strong knowledge of combustion emission factors and fugitive methane. • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related field; eligible for EIT/P.Eng. in BC, AB, or SK. • 2 + years experience in upstream oil and gas (or related sectors) and 1‑3 years completing GHG verifications. • Strong technical knowledge of combustion emission factors and fugitive methane emissions. • Ability to mentor new graduates; French language skills considered an asset. • Familiarity with provincial and national GHG program requirements (TIER, GGERR, OBPS, CFR, VCS).
