About the Role

• Assist with roadway, bridge, and traffic design projects. • Support land/site civil development including stormwater management, grading, water/wastewater systems, and permitting. • Contribute to architectural and engineering projects involving municipal, federal, and private sector clients. • Prepare calculations, reports, design documents, and construction details/specifications. • Use computer‑assisted engineering tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, etc.) to support project design tasks. • Collect, organize, and prepare data for engineering evaluation. • Assist in construction observation, documentation, and compliance with specifications. • Provide general project support including drafting, computations, and quality review/proofing.

What You Bring

We are currently seeking Engineering Interns to support projects across our Transportation, Land Development, and Architecture & Engineering business lines. This is a paid internship available in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Virginia, or Maryland. • Students pursuing a BS degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program. • Eagerness to learn multidisciplinary engineering with exposure to transportation, land/site, and A&E projects. • Knowledge of systems and software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, InRoads, KYPipe, SWMM, HEC‑RAS, PCSWMM, EPANET, WaterCAD, and Microsoft Office preferred. • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels. • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
