About the Role
We are hiring a detail‑oriented Inspector – Civil (Roads) for our Dubai office. The role involves ensuring that road construction activities meet project specifications, contract documents, and health‑and‑safety standards while coordinating with contractors and the project team. You will prepare daily progress reports, monitor quality control, perform site measurements, and support the start‑up, commissioning and hand‑over of works. • Conduct thorough inspections of road construction to ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, and safety standards. • Supervise and coordinate contractors to meet project requirements and timelines. • Prepare detailed daily reports on progress, material deliveries, and inspection findings. • Implement and monitor quality‑control procedures throughout the project lifecycle. • Perform site measurements and surveying checks for pipe alignments and levels. • Collaborate with the project team to promptly resolve site issues. • Track contractor resources, equipment usage, and material testing records. • Assist in drafting project correspondence and documentation. • Participate in client inspections and coordinate with stakeholders. • Oversee start‑up, commissioning, and hand‑over of site works. • Conduct audits to verify conformity with contract documents and contractor plans.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering and bring at least seven years of road and infrastructure experience, including three years in the UAE. A strong grasp of construction contracts, detailed drawings, health‑and‑safety practices, and basic surveying is required, together with excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering. • Possess at least 7 years of road and infrastructure experience, including 3 years in the UAE. • Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of construction contracts, detailed drawings, and specifications. • Understand health‑and‑safety measures in construction environments. • Proficient in site supervision, inspection techniques, and quality‑control procedures. • Experienced in basic surveying and site measurements. • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Effective verbal and written communication. • Proficient in project‑management software and reporting tools. • Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations (RTA approval preferred). • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to challenging outdoor conditions.
